Joseph Pearson is the author of three books of literary non-fiction, The Airlift (Pegasus Books, 2025), My Grandfather’s Knife (HarperCollins, 2022) and Berlin (Reaktion, 2017). His short fiction and non-fiction have appeared in publications such as Lettre International, AGNI, PRISM international and New England Review. He is the house essayist of the Schaubühne Theatre. Pearson currently lectures at New York University and teaches creative and arts writing at a German university, the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin.
