Restore Arts Funding!

The current government attack on arts funding in British Columbia has provoked outrage and concern in communities across the province. These photographs were taken in Wells, which is southeast of Prince George in the north Cariboo region of B.C., and near Quesnel by Bill Horne, who runs Amazing Space Studio in Wells with Claire Kujundzic. The cuts announced in the fall of 2009 by the B.C. government are projected to remove up to 92% of current funding in the cultural communities. The largest effects won't be felt until after the Olympics are over in February and the world-class crowds have gone home.
