Wish Book

Wish Book (Gutter Press) by Derek McCormack. McCormack looks to the past to shatter the placid show window that the future promises us. In a hypothetical Peterborough of the early thirties, cancerous growths creep into the bodies of the sales clerk, the carny, the nurse and other appallingly normal maniacs. Kids die, hunters get sucked into the swamp, while the confectioner plays with a marzipan dildo. A great stocking stuffer!
