I attended my first Rogers concert at the Lethbridge Folk Club in 1981. During the intermission I went to get a beer. While standing in a cue for my beverage I happened to stand ahead of Stan. I asked him how he got his wonderful voice and he immediately responded, “Whiskey and cigars.”
