Trillium Award Nominations

Congratulations to Geist contributors Steven Heighton and Emily Schultz on their 2013 Trillium Book Award nominations!

Heighton's The Dead Are More Visible and Schultz's The Blondes are both English language finalists for the Trillium Book Award.

The Trillium Book Award, founded in 1987 by the Ontario government, recognizes and promotes the diverse work of Ontario writers in both the English and French languages. Past Trillium winners include Margaret Atwood, Michael Ondaatje, Timothy Findley and Anne Michaels.

The full list of nominees can be found here. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
