Red-Eyed Wariton Girl

THE EDITORS

My older brother started listening to Stan Rogers in high school, and I learned from him a very valuable lesson; great music comes in all forms and the more you listen to Stan, the more you learn and appreciate our country and its stories. We have a cottage up near Wariton, Ontario, and Stan brought the lakes alive with understanding and awe. Whenever I drive through Wariton, I look up to the “widow windows” and think about that “red-eyed Wariton girl . . . staring at the wall.” I love Stan Roger’s music and all that it makes me feel.
