Gail Buente is a deconstructed freelancer who is trying to break free from detachment and learn to write subjectively. Her “To Do Today” won third prize in the 4th Annual Geist Literal Literary Postcard Story Contest. She lives in Vancouver, but dreams of escaping before the Olympics in 2010.
