The dreadful effects of “computer-assisted publishing” can be observed in the new Canadian ten-dollar bill, a specimen of which I had been carrying around for days wondering where I could have picked up such a miserable-looking coupon: even Canadian Tire isn’t this bad. On a closer look I realized that this unspeakable assemblage of clip art and press-tones was in fact “legal tender.”
